I had found it.
the happiness I seek
I held it close, it’s flame warming my spirit, it’s light showing me the way.
but with a gust, I had lost it, and with it went my warmth and path.
I had not brought it within. I had not made it part of my being. I had sat along side but never become one with the peace.
I search for it once again, hoping this time to not make waste with its warmth, and to commune with it in my spirit so that I may become more than myself.
